Hepatitis

About Hepatitis

Hepatitis is a disease that primarily attacks the liver causing it to become inflamed. If this disease isn’t treated properly or reversed it can lead to liver disease or failure. If you expose yourself to alcohol, chemicals, poisons, dirty needles, you can put yourself at risk for hepatitis and should be tested. It’s highly recommended to test for hepatitis at an early age because symptoms can lay dormant for up to 10-20 years if you’re a carrier. The damage that hepatitis can cause is very severe and needs to be tested if you know you’ve been at risk.
